Map series and mobile devices

I created a map series with a side panel. See: https://www.arcgis.com/apps/MapJournal/index.html?appid=381fafcc63504b7bb9b07ebbb77e223c

It works fine on a desktop. However, the side panel disappears with a mobile device (phone / tablet).

Is there a way to fix this?
