Trying to add data to table can only select 2 columns

I am trying to add 3 or 4 columns to a table and as the table icon grays out after I select three columns. I can create a table with 2 but not 3 columns. The table is being accessed via a SQL connection in Insights 3.2.1 on Enterprise 10.7. Insights for ArcGIS

In older version of Insights, there was a restriction on the number of categorical fields that could be added to a summary table.  All restrictions have been removed and Insights can handle any number of numeric or categorical fields.
