Shape erased after install of ArcGIS 10.3?

Hello,

Recently I was reported that operators of 10.3 experience sudden erase of shape. E.g. after opening of previously fully working MXD they discover that some shapes are missing and has disappeared from the file system. The system staff dug into logs and found nothing. Is it possible that ArcGIS erased the shapes? I never experienced something like that.
