In ArcScene, the interactive "Create Contour" tool of 3D Analyst does not create a contour. It works for a TIN derived from the same raster. It works for the same raster in ArcMap. Toolbox/Raster Surface/Contour works just fine. Any ideas?
I think I'd already found/followed the advice you pointed me to (thanks!), but to no avail.

but there are some sublinks. Like the obvious... toggle on the 3D analyst, but check just in case something applies in your case
