How do I create a custom grid?

I would like to create a custom grid that is centered over a polygon feature. I want this grid to consist of six squares, stacked 2 wide by 3 high. How can I do this?

Hi! You may want to try the fishnet tool. It creates a fishnet of rectangular cells, and you can define the number of rows and columns over an area.
