Survey123 vs Soft-tip Stylus

Brand New Tablets (Zebra XSlate L10), just installed Survey123

Stylus does not work in the upper right corner of the Survey123 screen (see red area on Attachment) to open the menu to Download Surveys, Sign Out, or get to Settings.  Once the menu is opened (using a mouse) the stylus works just fine within each menu category.  It's just the opening of the menu that seems to be the issue.  Neither a quick tap nor an extended press work.

I can get to the Survey123 menu using a mouse but a mouse will not be feasible in the field when there will be no access to a USB port (dust covers will be installed).

After further checking this is only happening on the Win10 tablet, Survey123 seems to work find on my Android Phone.  I suppose something to note is that on the Android version,  in the upper right corner it show the three parallel "menu bars" instead of the logged in users initials "MB" in my case on the windows version.
