Copying SDE View Add field "OBJECTID_1"

Hello everyone

We create SDE spatial views using ArcCatalog in version 10.2 and 10.4, and when we copy an sde views to another SDE database the resulting feature class gets a new field "OBJECTID_1".

This behavior only happens since we create SDE views with ArcCatalog in 10.2 and 10.4. The old way of creating SDE views with “sdemon” command line worked fine when copying a SDE views to a new SDE database, it did not add any extra field.

Any suggestions to eliminate this field?

I know that Feature Class to Feature Class or Table to Table allow for field mappings, which would allow you to drop the old OBJECTID_1 field, but I can't recall if those tools work with a spatial view as the input.
