No pop to ArcGIS Earth

Question

I thought I'd check with others. Is anyone else having trouble getting feature popups? Neither my url's ArcGIS online services, or maps or shapefiles will tell me anything about themselves. Left click, right click, turn blue in the face click. What am I doing wrong? 
 I see some screen shot of popups and the help says you just left click.  Maybe I'm leaving out the "just"?

Hi Doug,

Earth is definitely a WIP. We have an extended roadmap and are well on the way to a 1.1 update planned for around the Dev Summit.

There are actually a bunch of user and Esri-shared KMLs on ArcGIS.com that you can access without requiring a login. Try this one:

Thanks for the clarification Chris. I get that Earth is a work in progress. I'd just mention I had no luck with popups on kml's either though I did get labels to appear nicely. Is there a kml exporter you'd recommend or a sample kml that you might share to demonstrate that function works?
