Measure and Draw widget to the Parcel Viewer local government online app

Question

I�??m trying to add a Measure and Draw widget to the Parcel Viewer local government online app https://github.com/Esri/local-government-online-apps

Anyone have a sample of adding another widget to the toolbar?  Or instructions on how to do this?

It looks like I'm going to have to add a class in lgonlineCommand.js and probably add config parameters in ParcelViewer.json but I'm not sure how to actually get the widget into the toolbar.

I have tried a number of times to incorporate the measure widget into the Tax Parcel Viewer application, unsuccessfully.  I regret that I am not a developer, so I would appreciate whatever help you can provide. (a detail of the code modifications you performed would be terrific) Please provide to the limits of your convenience whatever assistance you can.  Also. is there an example of the TPV with the measure tool widget available, publically?

Not saying it can't be done but I gave up and switched to the other Tax Parcel Viewer -- yes there are two very similar in functionality but completely different in terms of code -- http://tryitlive.arcgis.com/TaxParcelViewer/

With this one it was much easier to put a Draw and Measure widget into.  In fact there is already a Draw under the Feedback widget so I just tweaked it, and then copied this widget to make a new Measure widget.

I hate to bring up this old thread ( i can open a new one if need be), but did you ever hear back from anyone?  I'm trying to add some more widgets to the parcelviewer as well.  Any information would be great!  Thanks!
