Installing ArcGIS 10.5 on Windows 7 Virtual Machine

Hello,

I am having issued when trying to install ArcGIS 10.5. I am using Windows 7 Professional on a virtual machine (VMware) from a Mac.

Whether I am trying to install the license manager or ArcGIS itself, I get an error message that "a service pack is required on this operating system".

I am not finding guidance on what to do online.

Any advice would be very appreciated!
