If you configure a repeat with the appearance of 'minimal', you get the behavior you're asking for.

I am pretty sure you have this question posted in the wrong space/group. I am not familiar with survey123 but if it is an app thats code base comes from AGOL then code modification can not be done unless you are hosting the app on your own server (if that is even possible, as I said I am unfamiliar with survey 123). Either way this question does not have anything to do with Web AppBuilder.
