We just upgraded from ArcGIS 10.3 to 10.4.1 and use the Business Analyst extension. Now every time we open up ArcMap, we get this pop-up window suggesting that we download the additional software components for background geoprocessing. Is there a way we can stop this annoying popup every time we open up a map? We don't want to use the background geoprocessing ... I'm hoping someone has found a way to stop the prompts.

You could turn off background processing from Geoprocessing > Geoprocessing options > Uncheck "Enable Geoprocessing Options".

Thank you Jayanta, but that didn't turn off the popup window. It still appears every time we start up ArcMap.
