open an excel sheet from within a survey?

Is it possible to open an excel sheet from within a survey, to do some quick calcuations needed to answer one of the questions?  And then have a field in the spreadsheet populate a field in the survey??  Specifically, we have a simple streamflow calculator , and Avg Flow (CFS) is what we want answered in the survey. 

Just wondering....

Hi Lynn,

It is possible to use an appearance of calculator to display a simple calculator on the form.  That being said, if you want to embed a calculation like the streamflow calculator, you can do so by having calculations in the survey - see New Mathematical Functions Make your Form Smarter and Formulas—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS.
