How do I change the size and color of the tabs in the tab theme in web app developer?

I am trying to change the tab size and color in web app developer, but when I update the styles folder and the panel folder nothing happens. I would like to know how to change the layout of the tab theme to make the top banner wider, and change the colors to dark blue. #webappbuilder developer edition‌
