During the upgrade of an ArcMap parcel fabric one of the recommended steps in the post-processing stage is to "Delete large records like <Map> (on staging file geodatabase)" What is the rationale for this and what would generally be considered a "large" record? Quarter Section size, Section size, Township size, 9200 square mile size?
The <map> record is usually overlapping much of the data so making a change somewhere in the data that has the <map> record within the extent might cause that feature to be updated which could cause performance slow down. This issue will be addressed with ArcGIS Pro 2.5.
