Is there a way to connect the feature service directly to an SDE instance?

Question

We are looking to use Survey123 for field work, and the data ultimately needs to end up in SDE on our local infrastructure.

We are still in the process of building a prototype, but at this stage we would be looking to download the data as a GDB and loading that into SDE. We would prefer it if we could go directly from the feature service in AGOL into SDE.

Thanks for that Zoltan, we will keep looking into this and see what we can come up with. This would be excellent functionality to add in a future release.

At the moment you cannot directly collect to an SDE instance (via a hosted feature service) in survey123. There may be a functionality for this in the future. I haven't tried it, but you might be able to replace the survey's FS with one that points to your SDE instance. (Schema and other bits must be the same as in the FS created by survey connect/AGOL. Not sure about dependencies and whether the FS id is linked to the survey though.).

On the other hand, you can use your SDE instance in Collector via a hosted feature service in AGOL.
