Hi All,

 

I would like help/ideas on the following workflow. we have two people doing two separate parts of one survey (at same location) in a disconnected state at the same time. what would be the optimal solution to get the data together at the end of the day in the one survey? is there any behind the scenes wizardry that could / should happen. obviously only one of the locations could only be used which would be determined prior.

Hi Leigh,

As you describe it, you will have 2 seperate submissions, one from each person (there isn't a way to 'pass' a survey between people while they are disconnected).  I would suggest creating a unique id for the observation (that is entered in both surveys); from that you could have a script to either copy the data from one of the surveys to the other or to copy half the data to a new feature layer and then append the other half.
