Survey123 Version 3.10.325 crashing on Amazon Fire tablets

Question

My Fire HD 8 (8th generation) running Fire OS 6.3.1.5  as well as multiple other Fire tablets belonging to one of my users are crashing on the new update (released 8/6/20). Choosing the "Continue without signing in" option or signing in with my organizational account both cause an immediate crash. Is this a known issue with the new version?

Thanks for confirming they are 32 bit and logging the bug with Esri support.

Hi Philip-

Yes, it was working on all devices before the update. I believe the Fire tablets are all 32-bit, according to specs on Amazon's site. I will report the bug with Esri Support.

Hi R Schaffner,

Was the previous 3.9 version working ok without crash on this same device?

Do you know if this device is a 32 bit or 64 bit CPU architecture?

We have seen a recent increase of crashes on older 32 bit Android devices with 3.10 release, which are are currently looking into.

Could you please raise an official bug with Esri Support for this crash so the development team can attach your account and reported bug with the internal development issue.
