Is there a way to lock my survey and prevent ownership change?

Kind of like 'Prevent Delete' but Prevent Ownership Change instead. So that people with Roles that allow them to change ownership don't think they can change ownership of a Survey. I've seen where one person does all the publishing and sharing of the Analyze capability and often others want to take ownership when that person moves on to other projects. The documentation page used to say it's not recommended to change ownership. Is that still the case?

Hi Fern,

Unfortunately, there isn't a setting available to prevent ownership change.  Yes, changing ownership does cause a problem when the survey needs to be republished - the folder the form is stored in is kept in the .iteminfo file.  It is possible to update that manually to reflect ownership changes.
