App crashes on Xiaomi Redmi 6. How to handle it?

Hi,

There is a known bug BUG-000117567 (Release notes for 100.5.0—ArcGIS Runtime SDK for Android | ArcGIS for Developers) about app crashing on Xiaomi Redmi 6, but I reproduce it on SDK 100.6.0 too. Was it fixed in the latest SDK or no? If no, will it be fixed in next release?

By the way, is there quite a gentle way to handle the crash? I would like to present a nice message to user or something like that...
