Intersect lots of feature

Hi

i have facing some problem in ArcGis. i want to intersect 5 crore Polygon feature and 2 lakh's polyline feature with each other. if i used intersect tool then he takes

lots of time to give output & system gonna hang. so please tell me what's the simple process or software to do this task.

i am used Arcgis 10.2.2.

Knowledge is more important...

I was checking whether you selected the features prior to performing the intersect so that the number of features involved in the process would be limited.  This would speed up the process.

Perhaps you could specify exactly what steps you used then if the above doesn't work
