Add the Smart Editor Intersection functionality to Workforce?

The intersection functionality in the Smart Editor widget allows for the user to click on a location (point) and transfer fields from a polygon intersection to the point featureclass. This performs very well if the Workforce Assignments layer is added to a WebApp if assigning tasks to a polygon (survey built off of a table related to a property parcel).

It would be awesome to add this functionality directly to Workforce as our current process for tasking surveys built off of non-spatial tables related to polygons (farm audits etc.) require the copying of the parcel unique id from the popup in Workforce to the Assignments ID field, which transfers the ID to relationship field in the table record.

Hello and thanks for your request for Workforce.

We do have it in our backlog to allow for Worker assignment to be driven from a polygon layer.  That issue is not currently assigned to a release.  But, we do not have any plans to add the Smart Editor widget to Workforce.

We also have in our backlog an issue to provide more capabilities for transferring information to an assignment when created from a feature, however, it is not assigned to a release at this time.
