data not showing on dashboard

Question

I have same AGOL map in the same AGOL dashboard, one of the maps missing data?!

There are no filters or queries. Does anyone know why this might occur?

When I search for a location, as expected, the map zooms to the point and highlights it in teal  but then the hightlight disappears?

I actually only want one map but all my indicators are based on the layer from map on the left so will have to rebuild my dashboard and I would also like to know why it's occurred as users will miss critical data if this occurs again.

my mistake -  there was a date filter in on the map. the map would draw the feature and then the point would disappear as the date filter was then applied. the disappearing points had an incorrect date for one of the records. user error!
