Offline Maps for Collector?

Are there plans to allow georeferenced PDF maps in collector? Our field crew never have service and are resigned to using Avenza PDF Maps.

Current thoughts on opening a GeoPDF as a basemap in Collector?

This would be a major selling point to our users.
