Invalid URL Error - Registering ArcGIS Server in GeoEvent 10.3.1

I am having trouble connecting to an external ArcGIS Server in GeoEvent 10.3.1

The URL is https://gis.aes.accuweather.com/arcgis

The connection is valid in GeoEvent 10.2.2

In GeoEvent 10.3.1 is there URL format-checking happening behind the scenes when connecting to an external ArcGIS Server? Could this be preventing us from saving the connection?

We are behind a proxy, can GeoEvent 10.3.1 be configured to set the proxy URL?

Console log:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 502 (Bad Gateway).

Figured it out, hope this helps someone out there

• Logging into GeoEvent Manager
• Go to Site
• Settings
• Then add proxy host and port settings for:
  • Http Proxy Host
  • Http Proxy Port
  • Https Proxy Host
  • Https Proxy Port
