Export road centre lines for use in Infraworks?

Hi all

I'm looking to recreate the city engine roads in Infraworks. Basically I want to make use of the grow streets function which is unavailable in Infraworks.

This means I will need to create my streets in city engine and export the centre lines of my streets.  Then import these centre lines into Infraworks so I can recreate the road network.  Infraworks will read in many formats including shp files.

does anyone know if this is possible and how to go about it?

Hi Neil

You cannot use the "normal" Export Models dialog. Instead go to File -> Export which opens the Export dialog. There please select "Export Selected Graph Objects".

Now you get to a different dialog where you can select which format you want to export to. We support FileGDB, Shapefile and DXF. Afterwards you'll get a dialog about where to export and possibly format specific options.
