widget functionality without the built-in controls

Hello,

Is it possible to use the ArcGis JavaScript API measurement widget without using the built-in controls

(I want to use the functionality with my own toolbar)?

Sure you can just create the measurement widget but do not add it to the DOM and then just listen for events.
