Is ArcGIS online the only way to Share CityEngine WebScene?

Question

I was reviewing the suitability of City Engine for one of our projects. One of the main requirements of the project is the ability to view the 3D model online. The CityEngine Web Viewers do look suitable for that, but they require that ArcGIS Online be used to host the webscene, as well as the Viewer.

This is problematic for several reasons. Is this the only way to share 3D scenes online? Can we host the webscene ourselves? Is It possible to customize the City Engine WebViewer (with our logo and banner for example) and host it ourselves?

Thanks for the reply, I am now waiting for the API. But overall messing with the files of the viewer was not a very hard task. I was only able to change some colors and replace the icons and add some custom http links.

Hi Vipul.

At the moment, you can just go in and play a little with the files at hand of the viewer. But to do stuff properly, you'll have to wait until the API comes out. That'll take some more time though.

[If you fiddle around with colors and replacing images or such, be aware that's on your own risk and you'll get no support.]

Is there anyway to edit this viewer. I might need to change color and the 3d webscene container design. ANy pointers will be great for me.
