My buffer completes but is not showing up on my map.

The buffer shows in results but does not display on the map. I am new to ArcMap as this is my first GIS course.

What version are you using?

Have you tried closing out of ArcMap and opening it again? If so, does the session results pane still show the buffer session as successful?
