Core Team Missing When New Initiative Is Created

Question

I am creating a new Hub Initiative for my organization. Per the documentation it states that every site and initiative has a core team. After creating my initiative I see a Content and Followers group but no Core Team group. Where is the Core Team group found?

Hi there - the Core Team is only created if the user has the privilege for "Create group with update capabilities"...if not then those features that depend on the Core Team will show a message asking to add one (or get a user who has the privs to come add one for you)

You should see this message on the "Teams" section of your initiative.
