Seems like a simple question; couldn't find the answer anywhere.
Conda should be kept up to date by doing
conda update conda
from the root environment. But this is what I get:

The conda deployed with ArcGIS Pro is a specially compiled/configured conda. You do not want to update it, or it will break other parts of the Pro Python deployment.
