add graphic after map is loaded client-side

Hello,

I am new to arcgis. I want to use arcgis as iFrame in a database app and I would like to be able to add newly created records containing GPS coords to an already loaded arcgis map. The database application makes it possible to trigger at client-side a JS script function with parameters.

Which arcgis JS function do I need to trigger to add a new graphic to the arcgis map?

I have attached the sample HTML that I am currently using
