Route widgets in Webapp builder: Plan route/direction

Im trying to add a direction or/and route widget to a webapp. But when trying to configure the widget (in the below image the direction widget), the default Route URL does not work. Any tips on why?

I have an organisational account so a lack thereof is not the problem.

Same for me: url works fine and I was able to calculate a route (see screen capture below).
