My first Story tour was a great success. When I tried to edit it, it failed. Since then I have remade it three times. Each time it fails.
All my points and images are gone. It loads an empty map.
Hi,
Sorry about your issue but thanks for taking the time, that last Map Tour gave me a lead. The web map associated with the Tour is http://www.arcgis.com/home/webmap/viewer.html?webmap=a7d55448cfea47379cfbe93a2b287552
If you try to open the attribute table, you will get an error that let me think that when you created your tour you must have copy/pasted some text that ArcGIS Online don't like.
This can happen when you are copy/pasting content from the web or rich text editor like Word into the builder. One thing you could do is to copy/paste the text into a simple editor like notepad before copy/pasting into builder. By doing that you may or not notice some weird character in your text. Remove those if you see them.
Hope this helps
Sorry about that.
Can you share a link to your tour so I can take a look?
I guess you used the option to upload your pictures to ArcGIS Online and added them one by one. In that case a Feature Service is created and you should be able to see it in My Content. Can you find it?
http://arcg.is/1J5Q1Nx the share link.
I just discovered my build for it is still here… it just won't open to view. I have saved it.

My content is pretty cluttered. It seems like each time I tried a new tour a new feature was required. At the time I didn't realize that was going to be a feature layer.
Yes, this last time I did add my images from my computer, but the time before from Flicker. I never understood why it happened differently.
Still confused….

Does the application open using the following link https://yan-tribe.maps.arcgis.com/apps/MapTour/?appid=66931cf696ea485a88d7301e82d14080&edit ?/external-link.jspa?url=https://yan-tribe.maps.arcgis.com/apps/MapTour/?appid=66931cf696ea485a88d7301e82d14080&edit
If you can open the application, you would need to share it publicly so I can diagnose it, you can do that using those buttons
If you can't, something have gone really wrong. I suggest you try one more time. Reload the application every once in a while after you save so hopefully you can see what goes wrong.
I don’t think it will open. Its been spinning for awhile.
Still spinning… not going to load. It also tried to load in the same tab I originally had it, so I lost my build of it.
