Resources for a Telecom newbie?

Hello all,

I have many years of experience in the GIS field, mainly in Local Government.  I have a new role working for a telecom company to help them implement and move from a CAD based system to an Enterprise GIS.  I thought I would reach out to the community to see if folks have any resources that would be useful for me in learning more about the industry, jargon, etc.
