Coordinates shown in the interface of the ArcPad,

I couldn�??t figure out how the coordinates shown in the interface of the ArcPad can be switched.

[ATTACH=CONFIG]29318[/ATTACH], [ATTACH=CONFIG]29319[/ATTACH]

For example, I need these coordinates to be set in the �??D-Palestine-1923�?�. Is this possible?

Is the only way to do so is to create a feature class in the ArcMap and then to use the command �??Get data for ArcPAD to have it saved in *.apm file.

Original User: Jamal432@gmail.comIf you use ArcPad Data Manager and do a Checkout of data from a geodatabase, does the same happen? I am using Leica Zeno Field and using an project from the EasyOut process and I am able to utilize the projection coordinate format as you can see in the image below.

This is precisely my point. If the shape file is created in ArcPad and saved in amp file then there is no way to control the coordinate system

In return, if the shape file is saved in amp file via the tool �??get data for ArcPad�?� then the coordinate system appearing the ArcPad will be as it is there in the ArcMap.

The issue here is that sometimes we need to do everything from scratch in the ArcPad. In this case, there is no luck to set the coordinate system as we need.

Now the project is saved as .amp but still the coordinates in the status bar doesn�??t show the D_Palestine_1923

I think that the issue here is that as a shape file is created in the ArcPad, then the system doesn�??t offer an option to choose the coordinate system.
