Basemap Toggle in Shortlist Story Map

Question

Hello,
I would like to add the basemap toggle widget to my app created with the Shortlist Story Map template. I have done very minimal customization but I am not sure exactly how to put this widget into my app. I have found the basemap toggle javascript code in the examples area (https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/jssamples/widget_toggle.html) Can anyone tell me where to put the code to make this work ?

I was able to get the basemap toggle into the application template, but it ended up calling up a new blank basemap rather than working with the specified webmap from the Shortlist configurable template. How do I get the toggle to work WITH the webmap being used by the shortlist template?
