I recently started a GIS position in which the previous employee set up all the data on SDE files. These are somewhat Greek to me and need help now enabling the files for editing. How do I take these .sde files that have been established before, turn on admin permissions, and use the data inside? When I connect to the database I can't see any data.
Any and all help or hints regarding SDE would be much appreciated. Any SDE reference guides too?
