Sharing a Web map from Pro

In Pro  you can create and publish  your services.  You can then start a new map and design your Web Map by brining in the services (in our case from Portal).  You can then share the web map to your desired group and location direct from Pro

However, if you need to make changes to that Web Map how can you make those changes take place in the Web Map, from Pro.  You can share it again, but you need to delete the existing one first or change the name.

Is there a way around this?

I know I can make a change to the original service and overwrite the Web Map.

Now the curious part. To test it I made a minor color change to a symbol.  And Overwrote the service.  The Web Map I am looking at in Pro the color of the symbol changed in the map itself, but not in the legend.

I can import the web map again and the legend adjusts.
