i want to save a custom raster layer as mxd. pls guide me
have you look at the help specific to your developing environment?
i open a blank arcmap. add a custom layer into it and then want to save it as mxd.
my requirement is when i will reopen the saved mxd, then it should be displayed with the layer data.
i am using IPersistStream interface in it, but it failed to work.
pls guide me
an mxd is the project that contains layers. I don't understand what you mean about saving a layer as a project
