AGO Credit Usage Question

Publishing a map service to AGO as a hosted feature layer cost 2.4 credits per 10 MB per month. Does adding a feature layer to AGO from an existing map service published on a local server cost credits?

No, this will not cost you any credits if the service is hosted on ArcGIS Server.
