Web maps crashing when I turn on point layers

Question

I'm running ArcMap 10.7.1 and Server 10.6.  I publish my map layers to our server, then add them to a web map via "add layer from web".  When I open the map on an ios device (phone, ipad, mac..), the map will crash if I open up certain layers.  It seems to only be point layers.  This doesn't happen on Android devices. I've searched and can't find where anyone has had this specific problem.  Could it be because of the different versions in ArcMap and Server?  If not, any suggestions?  TIA!

Have you set visibility scales?  When looking on a phone seeing everything at the state level may not be helpful anyway as things are more of a blob rather then features.  Have your scale set for more in close looking.

I had one of my collector apps set to State.  But the field crews were only needing to see things closer then 1:10000 so I adjusted and everything was better.

Also, check your symbols. Online does not work well with complex symbols

Please disregard the "points layers" indication.  It's happening to other geometry type layers also.
