Apply Multipoint Symbology on Point Layer

Is there a way to apply/import symbology from a Multipoint layer on a common Point layer?

Thanks, Kory. That's what I feared... I have quite a bunch of different symbol classes, that's why I was hoping that there might be a less tedious way than saving each symbol separately. That you're not able to apply a polygon symbology to a line is clear, but here we are talking of point symbols in both FC...

Anyhow, for me it's not so obvious that multipoints cannot be treated the same as multipart lines or polygons (i.e. in the same FC), but that's another question 🙂

Apply Symbology From Layer—Data Management toolbox | ArcGIS Desktop

I guess you'd have to work around the documented limit...  Save your multipoint symbol as a favorite and then apply it to the points?
