Without closing the project,
What is the solution for reaching the layers of another project with the extension .aprx?

connect to the other project's geodatabase and load the layers from there. If the 'layers' are lyrx's, then connect and navigate to the folder you want.

You can do this through arcpy if you want, but there is no need
