Link Points for Project to Bullet on Same Map Story

Question

I am creating a map story, and would like to know if there was a way to have one bullet have a map with multiple points, and have each point linked with a bullet in the same map story.  The desired product would be so a viewer could click on a point in the first bullet and have it bring them to the associated bullet giving a more in depth description of the bullet they clicked on

This is doable through a customization that is documented on GitHub. This require that you download and host the application on a web server. It would allow you to easily create that kind of story The World is Full of Circles | Travel | Smithsonian (in that case see the last tab)
