I apologize as I am new to GIS Pro, Is there a difference between using XY Table to point vs XY Layer when importing an excel file? I also can not find the XY Data to point tool also, where is it located?
You can do a Search in ArcToolbox to locate any tool if you don't know where they are specifically.
Also... the help file indicates which toolset any particular tool is located...
