ArcGOS Online Issue

Good Afternoon,

I just published a service to ArcGIS Online from ArcMap 10.7.1. I have a field that is fully populated in the feature layer when i publish. After i published, when i select and just view the data this field appears to be fully populated, however if i go to edit that point this field is empty. Does anyone know why this would be happening?

Did you populate the field with coded value domains in ArcMap? Or set up domains in ArcGIS Online after publishing? I've had that happen to me when the value that the field is populated with doesn't match any of the values in the domain (for instance, if it was populated before the domains were set) so when you start an edit session for the feature it "resets" it.
