Use DTED Data in Android App

Hello, I am looking to get elevations around my location by accessing DTED data from a map. I know I can get mapping with DTED, however, I am not sure if there is a way to query the map for elevations around my location.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

The Android API at 100.0 doesn't support this yet. However, at 10.2.8-1 you can query an  ImagerServer Service layer, which can be served from a DTED.
