Can't add custom logo in Story Map Tour

Have read everything I can find on this topic and can't find the solution. I'm building my first Story Map Tour. Have successfully customized color settings, customized top right text in header (with and without link). Have a logo within size limits (150x50px) stored in Flickr. Have copied share url from Flickr. Custom logo won't load. What might I be doing wrong?

The URL you are using won't work because it isn't the URL to an image: it's the URL to a Flickr page that contains an image.

For the logo, the URL needs to point just at an image, e.g. a file ending in .jpg etc. It's the same deal if you want to add an image on the web into Map Tour as the image or thumbnail for a place directly using a URL: that URL has to go directly to an image, i.e. if you paste it into a web browser it will just show an image.

Try this URL instead, which points directly at your logo image: https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/846/41631341331_c3cb45964e_o.jpg

To obtain that URL from your Flickr page, I clicked the Download icon > View All Sizes to get to this page: https://www.flickr.com/photos/56793879@N07/41631341331/sizes/o/, then right-clicked the image on that page to get its URL.

Can you paste the URL that you are using to access your image here so we can have a look (assuming your story map will be publicly accessible and that therefore the logo image is as well?

Story Map Tour will also be public, but isn't yet, as I am just roughing it in and learning the app, with dummy photos.

In addition to what Rupert said, is your Flickr photo set to public? Also, can you share the flickr photo here to see if others can view it?

Genius sleuthing, thank you!!! I never would've figured out that path to the url. Was just using the share option for the photo. Have to tweak my background color a bit on the logo, or make background transparent, but otherwise working beautifully and I'll follow your instructions to get to the right url after uploading the fix.
