Append tool failure ArcGIS Pro to AGOL Feature Layer

Hello -

We receive an error message (000594: Input feature general function failure) when appending a point feature class to an online feature layer (ArcGIS Pro to AGOL). Per the error documentation, we have tried to adjust/match the x, y domains as well as the x, y resolution (in the geoporcessing tool environment setting). After adjusting the domain and resolution to match the target (we have also tried the inverse) we receive the same error message. In addition, we created a new version of the append feature dataset (in a local geodatabase with same settings as AGOL feature layer). This failed as well. Note: we have successfully performed this operation on the same datasets in the past. Looking forward to your response.

Hi all - 6 years later and I have this problem! I'm appending a polygon gdb feature class to a Portal Hosted feature service layer. Anyone have any insight? I used the same data to create the hosted feature service so it should match exactly?

We used the tool successfully at the same time we received the error on another layer (same feature service). We have not updated antivirus software recently.
